PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
Assist the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material of skills.
Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up and assigned by the teacher.
Check notebooks, corrects papers, and supervises testing and makeup work, as assigned by the teacher.
Assist with such large group activities as reading aloud, storytelling, etc.
Alerts the regular teacher to any program or special information about an individual student. Communicates with classroom teacher about any concerns regarding students.
Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of the information about students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.

180 days per year
Paraprofessionals starting salary is $21.89 per hour.
Additional credits will be adjusted pending verification of additional college credits.
